What are the advantages of plastic driving sheets?

PE driving plates are made of the maintenance-free plastic polyethylene. This makes them lightweight and easy to move. Besides the maintenance-free aspect, the plastic sheets are also impervious to oxidation and rot, making them virtually indestructible. The plastic driving plates, also known as walking baffles, have an anti-slip structure as standard. The plastic polyethylene ensures that the sheets always remain flat, with no sharp edges that could cause damage.

The various applications of roadway slabs

Polyethylene road plates are suitable for various substrates. These include loose substrates such as sand and clay, car parks, construction sites and driveways. It is also possible to have your logo milled into the plastic road plates and number them. What should I pay attention to when buying road plates?

Do you want to buy plastic driving sheets? When buying polythene roadway slabs, there are some important things to consider. The load-bearing capacity of the roadway slabs should be sufficient for the weight of the equipment that has to drive over them. It is also important to measure the dimensions of the roadway slabs so that they fit the desired location and are suitable for the intended use. Also, ensure that the roadway slabs have a non-slip structure to ensure safety. The material from which the road plates are made should be resistant to weather conditions and chemicals.

Furthermore, the black plastic driving plates are available in various standard sizes. The 12 mm thick plastic sheet is fitted with two handles on both short sides. The 15 mm and 20 mm thickness sheets are equipped with four handles, two on both short sides. The maximum loads per thickness are respectively 35 tonnes at 12 mm, 45 tonnes at 15 mm and 60 tonnes at 20 mm. We also offer lightweight 'arbo(plates)'. These weigh only 23 kg and are available in a standard size of 2000x800x15 mm. These plates come with a handle on the long side. You can order all plates individually or in multiples of 10 or 20.
