Description
Reusable Mud Plates
Mud plates measure 50 cm x 50 cm x 5.3 cm each, weigh more than 9 kg each and can be used in two ways: closed (hole) side up or open (grid) side up. Both sides have their specific uses and are ideal in different situations. Using Mud Plates is ideal when a thicker tread layer is required on top of muddy soil. The grid design in the slabs retains water and prevents the top surface from drying out too quickly.
Sustainable products are seen everywhere, contributing to a greener and cleaner future. These mud paddock boards are made from 100% recycled material, making the positive impact on the environment undeniable. After delivery and upon commissioning, no warranty is given because of this, the use of the Mud Paddocks is therefore at your own expense.
Heavy-duty soil stabilisation plates
The heavy-duty ground stabilisation slabs, also known as Mud row slabs, are firmly interconnected. They require no complex substructure, ensuring quick and easy installation of a stable area with slabs. Whether for construction sites, event venues or temporary access roads, these slabs guarantee reliable and durable stabilisation. They withstand heavy loads and provide grip even in muddy conditions. This keeps the ground safely passable and prevents damage to the site.
In addition, the paddock slabs are designed to withstand the elements, such as UV radiation and corrosion, for a long time. As a result, they retain their quality and stabilising properties over their lifetime, resulting in a sustainable investment for various projects. Whether for short-term events or long-term construction projects, these mud slabs offer a cost-effective solution that promotes both safety and durability of the surface.
Factors to consider
Of course, there are factors to consider when using Mud Slabs. Give all animals and livestock time to acclimatise to any changes in the ground surface. After laying the slabs, we recommend filling the holes with sand or another water-permeable material. For general use, but especially for open stabling throughout the year, we recommend a finishing coat of sand, following the manufacturer's installation instructions.
Keep in mind that in certain conditions extremely soggy soil and where liquid mud is on the surface, mud will come up through the holes in the slabs, this is normal. You will need to scrape this off the surface, the same applies to mud brought onto the surface by traffic. The slabs still provide a solid platform and prevent you from sinking into the mud.
