The drainage PP450 fibre consists of recycled polypropylene fibres, so this type of drainage tube does not decompose and lasts for decades! The drainage PP450 tube with plastic fibres is the successor to the coconut wrap. Today, the drainage tube PP450 is the most commonly used drainage tube when installing drainage in gardens, construction sites, sports fields and agricultural land. This type of drainage tube is especially suitable for use in clay soil to prevent rotting.
You can easily cut the drainage tube to size to ensure you have the right length for your personal situation. First measure the correct length of the drainage tube. Then apply drainage tape at this point around the drainage tube over a width of 10 to 15 cm. Then you can cut the drainage PP450 completely. Because you have provided the end of the drainage tube with tape, the casing will not come loose.
Drainage PP450 is available in our online shop with diameters from 50 mm to 200 mm and is supplied by the metre or in rolls of 25 or 50 metres. Which diameter drainage tube you choose depends on what you want to drain. Below you will find the application for each diameter:
