Foam tape (also known as Trespa® tape) should be used for better initial adhesion and as a spacer when bonding wall cladding panels. Foam tape protects plastic sheets against vibrations, damage, dust, moisture and penetrating dirt. It is indispensable when mounting plastic sheets in metal profiles. Foam tape provides heat and sound insulation and is easy to process. The black tape is 3 millimetres thick and 12 millimetres wide. The tape can easily be cut to length with scissors or a knife. The self-adhesive layer is best processed at temperatures between 5 and 30 degrees Celsius.
