Acrylic colours can be divided into three main groups. With transparent colours, you can see through the sheet. With translucent colours, you cannot see through the sheet, but light does get through. These colours are the most common. Finally, there are pigmented (opaque) colours. These are also called opaque. You cannot see through these and no light passes through them.
