Cover for compost bin with favourable moisture and oxygen conditions
The roof is an option for covering the compost bin. It consists of loose gutter-shaped profiles that are slightly sloped on top of the bin. It allows the mature compost to still breathe sufficiently and still largely dissipates rain. After all, favourable moisture and oxygen conditions determine good composting.
This roof is not a whole, it consists of 4 or more separate boards. These lie loose on top of the compost bin.
This way, 1 or 2 boards can easily be pushed aside to fill the compost bin.
